HINDU ELECTIONAL ASTROLOGY — A Handbook of Vedic System of Muhurt Jyotish Recently V K Shridhar has authored Hindu Electional Astrology (2nd edition 2021) in two volumes. It is the largest book on astrology having 1609 pages in two volumes. It is Published by M/s Suvaas Publishers, India. The first edition of this title — a compendium of Vedic Muhurtas — was the bestseller in the books on the subject in India for the last two decades. Need was felt by the author to expand its contents to upgrade it to the status of “Handbook” of electional astrology — the best known branch of astrology. A completely revised, improved & enlarged version is hereby presented extensively citing references from the treatises. New topics on Antidotes & Blockades, the Moon, and Tara have been added along with a chapter on ‘Guide to select Muhurt’. Most of the chapters have been extensively reviewed & matter expanded to meet the requirements of a handbook, detailing prescriptions for over 300 Muhurtas of significant & life activities.
